To provide a safe and comfortable experience, we have a new bag policy: all bags are subject to search. Along with required bag searched, patrons may be requested to open their jackets or be checked with a metal detector prior to entering the venue. Tacoma Arts Live will not hold or be responsible for any prohibited items.

Please contact our Box Office during business hours Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 253.346.1721 and Box Office Representative will be happy to help you!

Donate them – after purchasing tickets, if you find you are not able to attend a Tacoma Arts Live event, you may donate your tickets and receive a tax donation receipt. All donations must be made at least 24 hours before the event.

Tickets can be reprinted at the Box Office for a small per ticket fee. We do require picture ID that matches the account the tickets were purchased under to reprint your tickets.

The Box Office opens for will call 2 hours before scheduled performances. Will Call is also available for pick-up during regular Box Office hours.

Assisted listening devices are available at all theaters and can be checked out at coat check. If coat check is unavailable, please check in with an Usher.

ADA Accessible seating is available in all Tacoma Arts Live venues (Pantages Theater, Theater on the Square, and Tacoma Armory). The best way to request ADA Seating is to contact the Box Office at 253.346.1721. Our Customer Service Team will be able to assist you in securing the best seats available.

Only a portion of the cost of presenting our acclaimed performance season and respected education program season is generated by ticket sales. If you would like to support Tacoma Arts Live, all donations are tax deductible. We thank you for your support! Click here to make a donation today.

Every person who enters the theater must have a ticket. For most shows, children under 5 are not admitted. For family performances planned specifically for little ones, every person must have a ticket. No babes in arms permitted.

The lobby opens 45-60 minutes prior to curtain time. Try to arrive at least 30 minutes before the curtain rises. This will allow ample time for parking and avoidance of waiting in line.

From I-5, take the City Center exit to Highway 705.
Follow Highway 705 to the “A” Street exit.
From “A” Street, turn left onto 9th Street.
For Park Plaza North Garage, turn left on Commerce. Parking is to your left.
For the Pantages Theater and Theatre on the Square, continue west on 9th St. and turn left on Broadway.
For the Rialto Theater, continue west on 9th St. to Court C.

Refreshments are available for purchase prior to the performance and at intermission. Usually food and beverages are not allowed inside the seating areas. Any alcohol sales and consumption may only occur in the lobby area and/or restricted bar area of the theaters prior to the commencement of an event and during intermission as stated by law per the Washington State Liquor Control Board. Alcohol is not allowed in the performance seating areas of the theaters.

Taking photographs or making a recording of any kind during a performance is not allowed and copyright restriction should be considered. However, we do encourage you to take photos in the lobby or before the show to share on facebook or twitter.

In the interest of patron safety and enjoyment, Tacoma Arts Live reserves the right to prevent certain items from being brought into the venues. Items including, but not limited to the following are not allowed in Tacoma Arts Live:

Alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic beer – including glass bottles or cans
Food items
Illegal drugs
Sticks or clubs (including signs attached to sticks)
Fireworks
Bullhorns, airhorns or other noisemakers
Confetti
Animals (except certified dogs)
Beach balls or other inflatables
Bicycles
Skateboards or roller blades
Glass bottles or cans
Weapons of any kind, regardless of permit (including but not limited to: firearms, knives, batons, mace, pepper spray, brass knuckles, tasers etc.)

Tacoma Arts Live is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is permitted outside any of the venues more than 25 feet from the building’s exterior doors. “Smoking” means inhaling, exhaling, burning, carrying or possessing any lighted tobacco product, including cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, and any other lit tobacco products. This means the personal use of any tobacco product, whether intended to be lit or not, which shall include smoking, as defined above, as well as the use of an electronic cigarette or any other device intended to simulate smoking and the use of smokeless tobacco, including snuff; chewing tobacco; smokeless pouches; any other form of loose-leaf, smokeless tobacco; and the use of unlit cigarettes, cigars, and pipe tobacco.

A Tacoma Arts Live event is always an opportunity to dress up, but there is never a dress code. Attire varies from casual clothing to formal wear. Many people are allergic to perfumes. Out of consideration for your fellow audience members, please use perfume or cologne in moderation before entering the theater.
