September 3 - 1:30 p.m. - 2:45pm
Dancing with antlers—FREE and for all ages! People who come to The Christmas Revels are fascinated (or mystified!) by the Abbots Bromley Horn Dance, so we hold a Bromliad. You can learn the dance and participate in it. Bring your own antlers (branches can make pretty good antlers – look around your yard). Or just bring a picnic and watch. We’ll provide musicians and a caller. We’ll also play some fun games.
Tacoma Sings: Chihuly Bridge of Glass
September 20 from 6:30 p.m. - 7:45 p.m.
Chihuly Bridge of Glass
On the Bridge of Glass we’ll sing-out summer and sing-in autumn. Music to listen to as you arrive (on the Glass Museum side), then join in. We’ll provide song sheets. We’ll sing various places on the bridge and wrap up with a few lovely rounds. Bring a lantern if you want. We’ll light them as the sun sets. Beautiful.

This year, we’ll be celebrating in a rural English village (mid-17th c.) where the doings of the wee folk – fairies, hobs, brownies and such – were part of everyday life. They could be helpful and kind or mischievous, or downright troublesome. Caught in their world, it takes magic to escape… Join us for such an adventure.
Expect singing, dancing, and storytelling. Expect beauty, mystery, and hilarity. Bring family and friends to this lively concoction of folk tradition and high art that plays to sell-out audiences of all ages from all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
