Puget Sound Revels builds community through the arts using traditional music, dance, and drama drawn from many cultures. We offer theater productions, seasonal celebrations, and educational opportunities for all ages.

Spring Sing

We provide the song sheets while you provide your voice! Let’s fill the air with songs while enjoying each other’s company and food! Food and beverages are available for purchase.

May Day Celebration

May 1 - 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Wright Park (along “J” Street between the pond and the playground)

Singing, dancing and flower-crown-making to welcome lovely May. Join us between the pond and the playground (“I” Street side of the park). All ages. Free.

SEPTEMBER

Abbots Bromliad

September 2 - 1:30 – 2:45 p.m.

People's Park

Dancing with antlers—FREE! All ages! People who come to The Christmas Revels are fascinated (or mystified!) by the Abbots Bromley Horn Dance. So we have a Bromliad – just for fun. Come learn the dance and participate in it. Or bring a penny whistle, recorder or fiddle and play the tune. We’ll teach the steps and general concept. Bring your own (branches can make pretty good antlers – look around your yard). Or just bring a picnic and watch. We’ll provide musicians and a caller. We’ll also play some fun games and sing some rounds.

Tacoma Sings on the Chihuly Bridge of Glass

September 19 from 6:30 - 7:45 p.m.

Chihuly Bridge of Glass

Singing on the Chihuly Bridge of Glass to sing-out summer and sing-in autumn. Music to listen to as you arrive (on the Glass Museum side), then we’ll distribute song sheets and encourage everyone to join in. We’ll sing fun songs various places on the bridge and wrap up with a few lovely rounds in the amphitheater beside the History Museum. Bring a lantern if you want. We’ll light them as the sun sets. Beautiful.

OCTOBER is Tacoma Arts Month – there are many fun things to do! We'll be having an Arts Month Activity - stay-tuned!

Advance ticket sales for Revels donors (gifts of $75 and up) begins September 16.
All tickets are on-sale on October 1.

A mid-winter Celebration of the Winter Solstice. This year we’re off to the Balkan Peninsula – expect vibrant colors, thrilling singing, dance, storytelling. A great celebration for all ages.
