Tacoma Arts Live’s Theater Conservatory programs offer a transformative experience for youth aged 4-18, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment where children from various backgrounds can explore the world of live theater. These programs are designed to provide professional-level arts experiences where students engage in the entire theater-making process, from auditions to performances to behind-the-stage skills. By participating in these programs, students not only develop theater skills but also enhance life skills such as collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity. The Conservatory’s focus on small-group instruction during the summer allows for personalized skill development, ensuring that each child receives the attention and guidance needed to grow as both an artist and an individual. This approach not only nurtures their artistic talents but also contributes to their social growth, helping to build community ties and lifelong friendships.

We want all families to be able to participate in our programs, and recognize that tuition can be a barrier to participation. To increase accessibility and inclusion, we invite families to register at the tuition level that works best.
